Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our organization's operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing budgets, and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with the organization's goals.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including vendor development, logistics, finance, MIS, and quality control.
• Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and manage budgets for operations, including forecasting and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their operational needs and ensure that the operations support their requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the organization's operations.
• Develop and manage the performance of the operations team, including training, and performance management.
• Drive continued success through operational excellence to increase scope of business from each client
• Responsible for indirectly handling portfolio of clients in the company and increasing the scope of work and opportunity with them
• Directly leading a team of KAMs (Key Account Managers) and supervisors and other operational staff and responsible for their performance, training and overall development

Qualifications:

• Having extensive experience in similar roles within the logistics (trucking) industry with the leading firms/brands that are operating in the sector
• At least 7 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex operations.
• Strong understanding of operations management in an organization
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
