Job Title: Key Account Manager
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow our organization's key accounts. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key customers and ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts to achieve revenue growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the customer organization, including senior executives and decision-makers.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business needs, objectives, and challenges to provide effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including MIS, supply, operations and customer support, to ensure that key accounts receive exceptional service and support.
- Ensure that key account activities are tracked, analyzed, and reported on a regular basis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and manage the account budget and ensure that financial targets are met.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Directly manage a team of placement officers for fulfilling customer indents and managing overall operations for the portfolio of clients allocated
Qualifications:
- Having extensive experience in similar roles within the logistics (trucking) industry with the leading firms/brands that are operating in the sector
- Having a strong knowledge on the industry trends and the market rates to effectively lead a team of placement officers.
- Strong understanding of operations management in an organization
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all the internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
